need to know about the new way, as i have the old books but at the moment no class is the right time for me so here gos my questions if any one can answer them, what is not free food anymore somone said cornbeef and cottage cheese isnt, and westler burgers, isnt either, what else has changed in my old book you can have 2 healthy options and one out of dairy, so if any kind person could enlighten me further i would be so greatful wyx

I joined again last year, lots have things are different, like as you said corned beef is no longer free, not sure about the cottage cheese. Tins of Macaroni cheese are no longer free on green days, nor are pasta n sauces (though the latter are not that high in syns anyway).......quite a few changes really. Yes you have the options to pick 2 dairy choices now as well as the 2 fromthe B healthy extras.
You may pick up a cheap newer version on ebay or somewhere.
You can also get books that specialise in certain supermarkets - like slimming world at Tesco and it lists all the Tesco store products with slimming world syn values...

What I can't understand is if the diet worked before with free corned beef and tinned macaronni cheese (lovely on a jacket potato) why have they changed it !!

thnks for all your replies they were very useful. a lot has changed since i last joined, i dont understand either how cornbeef and other stuff was free before and not now ,loads of people still lost weight, i am trying to rethink and see if there is a class i can fit in. once again thanks

I brought up this question at my class too and the answer is if you lost weight last time counting corned beef etc as free then do it again. Very low fat cottage cheese is still free.
I think this is a brill diet - you never have to feel hungry and it's a gradual, healthy weight loss. Good luck! PS you can join online now but I prefer a class
