You know the answer mate, keep doing what you're doing, maybe she'll make you Tea!
oy fish the mod!!! give me my wife back!!!!! ahh sod it you can have her!! my wife complains about most things but in our house, but she cant make tea(not right anyway)
Now the UK is reknown as a tea drinking nation and it's one of those traditions that are slowly on the decline. Please keep making your tea in a teapot, it tastes better and the teapot will still stay a british heirloom. Your wife will no longer complain and you're preserving a long tradition to be taught to your children and grandchildren. Hold onto what we've got left....

Tell her to make her own tea...

I prefer it, when the teabag's removed after 3-4 minutes, but sometimes my husband forgets.
I love the fact that he makes me tea way too much, to bitch about it, though.
He might stop doing it!

:o)

Sounds like your wife doesn't like strong tea. If she prefers her tea light and delicate I can recommend Twinings Darjeeling, which, even if you leave the teabag in a tad too long, doesn't end up looking or tasting as if it's been brewed in a builder's urn.

i prefer it brewed in a teapot for a few minutes.....milk in the cup first then the tea. my fella has to have it made in the cup, milk in last.

Again if its the fact it gets too strong that she doesn't like you could buy Tetley One Cup. They're 1.00 for a hundred and not really that strong (hence the name one cup cos you wont get 'owt more from them) so you can leave them in for a bit.

Tea should always be made in a teapot, Fish. Only common people throw a teabag in a cup! The milk should go in the cup first (china cup that is!), that way you can tell how strong the tea is when you pour it in, and you should always have a pot of hot water to hand so you can dilute the tea if it gets too strong. And I dont care what anyone else says.....it does taste different in a china cup!!
