If you are making tea for one, do you make it in a cup, mug or a teapot and how long would you leave the bag in for?

A mug. Teabag in the water for a minimum of 5 minutes.
mug and leave it to steep for a minute or so, and sometimes if making for two people, take bag out, and use it again in the second cup (reboil the kettle).

You obviously like it strong sandy.
Mug and leave the tea bag in until it seems the right colour. I don't drink tea...
sorry, never drink tea.
In a mug usually. I leave the bag to stew for about a minute while I go and do something else.
Mug, 2 teabags, twenty stirs to the left, twenty stirs to the right and twenty dips and then a little milk and two sugars and i keep heating it in the microwave as i like my tea absolutely scalding
Mug and bag left in a while as like my tea strong.

Marks&Sparks No 3. Extra strong. Got to get the caffeine from somewhere
If it's just me then I go for mug dunking. If it's a cup of Earl Grey then it's quite a short dunk (2 mins top) if I want Assam then maybe 3 minutes.

And if I'm going for a fruit or ginger tea I leave the bag in the cup.
English Breakfast 5 minutes.

Are you joking Mk22?

Like the sound of the tea infuser headwreck does it give you the perfect cuppa everytime?
A tea bag?

Never use them. To make a proper cup of tea use leaf tea and a teapot. It's really no hassle. I have a metal teapot which I take on holiday with me. Don't like tea bags.

Mug - half a minute - I don't take anything else but tea in my tea, and I like it weak. I only drink green tea, white tea, or roobois.

Interesting Judge. Might look at doing that.

I have got one of those, HW, but I find it does not give quite the same results. I don't know if it is brewing in the cup/mug that makes the difference. Perhaps the pouring action adds something to the brew. But then I am a fussy old bugger when it comes to tea !!
Hate tea bags.would rather not have tea than use them. Always make myself a small pot of tea using leaf tea every time. Then have two mugs every time....
