If you are making tea for one, do you make it in a cup, mug or a teapot and how long would you leave the bag in for?

Well I'm liking the idea of buying myself a little teapot where I can use teabags or real tea.
If I do, should I buy metal or pot?

I have a small china tea pot. I use one tea spoon of tea using Sainsbury's Red Label . This tea suits me as I don't like strong tea. Add skimmed milk and half teaspoon of sugar. Lovely...
Always in the 3 cup pot

China is better IMHO
You can't beat the flavour of loose tea. Tea bag in a cup or a mug leaving it brew to me just taste horrible.

I brew my loose tea in a stainless steel pot, let it slow boil for 10min. Then let it settle for 2min then pour out with organic milk.
Teapot and loose tea every time. The modern habit of dipping teabags in a mug is just revolting and the tea never tastes the same as properly brewed stuff.
A bag in each mug. Has to be Yorkshire tea. A programme on last week said you should leave it in for 3-7 mins to get the full benefits of the tea. I leave mine for about 2 mins as dont like it too strong but OH does.
On the box of tea I have,it says for 1 tea bag steep for 3-5mins.
