I have shut myself away in the sitting room this afternoon and read my book. I feel very lazy for doing so.

Roll on Autumn.

Glorious weather Tilly, been out for a nice long walk with OH and Lola and then back in the garden for and ice cold glass of Rosé with frozen strawberry's dropped in
Question Author
I'm glad you're enjoying it, Bobbie. It just not my kind of weather.
Yes a bit warm I'm just chilling with some chilled cider
I'm like you Tilly 2, indoors reading with the fan on . I don't feel lazy though, just enjoying the Bank Holiday in my own way.
It's set to cool down here tomorrow
Question Author
It's too early for me for cider, Tony but its sounds lovely.

Margaret, I feel lazy because I haven't done anything productive today, not even prepared lunch. We went out for that. I am enjoying my book though.

I hope it's the same here, Bobbie.
Yes it is really hot here, I popped out a bit earlier on. Now I am just lazing in the living room.
I'm with Tilly here, not a sun worshipper (I'm too wide for that), but the nice Asda delivery man will be bringing me a case of Strongbow Dark later, so its not all doom and gloom.
What is a * sun worshipper * though?
I enjoy the sun, I like it's brightness, I like the way people are happier when the sun shines,
But do I like lying in it all day?
Nope, couldn't do do that at all
Question Author
I'm not wide, Mozz! Enjoy your Strongbow.
Another lazy one then, Marvel. :-)

I have just checked the BBC weather site, it's going to be just as hot tomorrow. Fortunately, I will be spending some time in the swimming pool. That should cool me down.

Aww! Tilly wants to go out. I'm off to the garden to brave the elements...

She changed her mind when I opened the back door. She's now hiding under a chair. Contrary madam!

The thermometer on our patio reads 34 degrees.
Tilly to warm outside to do anything. I will water later.
"It 'ain't 'arf 'ot Mum."
Tilly, I didn't mean for a second that you were wide, just indoors away from the sun!

Bobbi, nothing wrong with loving a bit of sun, it's great to see everybody enjoying it, I'm just not a fan. My holiday destinations are always for a cooler climate lol
Tomorrow it’s going to rain. Get your washing out now!
Theland you mean this?

Bit warm for me too. But I'm failing to set myself up with the patio table/chair/parasol, books/magazines, and jugfuls of piña colada; but instead wasting my life inside. Must do better.
Question Author
Just joshing, Mozz.

Alaska's nice, Mozz. Have you been there?
Question Author
Og, it's too warm for the patio. Think of the reflected heat from the slabs. Phew!
