What's tickling your tastebuds this weekend?

I'm meant to be going out with a colleague tomorrow night for a curry, though she does have a habit of cancelling last minute. I might make a spicy carrot, sweet potato and lentil soup as a back-up.

Sunday will consist of a roast dinner - either leg of lamb or belly pork but the latter would be my choice - with a surfeit of vegetables, crispy roasties and lashings of thick, homemade gravy. If I get my choice, we'll have homemade sausagemeat, apricot and almond stuffing to accompany.

I may have a small glass of wine. I note the Yellow Tail Range is on offer in Tesco and I am particularly fond of the Malbec in that range.

So ... what will tickle (or napalm) your tastebuds this weekend?

Gosh, BM, are you going on holiday? ;-)

Danny, you've just reminded me that I need some porcini mushrooms when I go shopping.

In the meantime, I think I've just cracked a tooth on something in the salad that I've just brought back from the canteen.
Yes I am! Didnt I mention it? Ad nauseum, ad infinitum? Damn, must start a(nother) thread about it........

I'm really pleased for you, BM. We'll be booking next year's trip to St Ives very shortly, but no foreign holidays here until mini-me is at least 3 years old.
Seriously BM do you continually have to go on about your holiday?
;-)
Tonight we're having salmon fillet with broccoli, dried cranberry and cashew nut salad.
Tomorrow is an m&s Indian £10 meal deal..two mains and three sides, our choice being butter chicken and chicken piri piri along with Bombay aloo, channa masala and an Indian starter selection. I'll also do a small amount of rice and some naan.
