In honour of the new addition to our family, I'm doing a proper cooked dinner comprising leg of pork with crackling, roasties, parsnips, sausagemeat, plum & ginger stuffing, carrots, peas, kalettes, broccoli, spouts & chestnuts and creamed spinach, with lashings of gravy.

What are my fellow foodies cooking today?

Not a lot, NoM.....even your meal couldn't tempt me today.....still recovering from a not very satisfactory and tummy upsetting meal on Friday.....

And no.....I didn't cook it!.....☺
We are having a meat free Sunday so it's fresh pasta with a carbonara sauce and lashings of Parmesan cheese
mine seems positively frugal, bacon sandwich for lunch which was nice and not sure for this evening possibly something very quick.
Catalan chicken which is a marinade of cumin, garlic, honey, white wine and the sauce finished off with Cream. Spinach with garlic, pine nuts and raisins. New pots roasted with hot smoked paprika and sherry vinegar.

Pud, which is a Sunday treat, has yet to be decided.
Carbonara has bacon in it, are you leaving that out, seems a shame as its lovely with it.
oi ... I've already got one of these going on.

REPORTED!
nothing -I'm coming round to yours !!! that sounds delish,it's making my mouth water just reading it !!
Of course it has emmie, a senior moment by me. Almost a meat free Sunsay.

Sorry, Talbot, I didn't see yours ;)

That Catalan chicken sounds beautiful, Eccles.

I think you should open some wine, gness...

EIN, that's a dish I'm seriously thinking about cooking soon.

I'll set another place, Glenis... :-)

Emmie, if I were you, I'd order an Indian :-)
No prizes for guessing who's going to be eating the crackling at NoM's.
:-)

Keta Salmon, pasta with creamy cheese and garlic sauce, mange tout and green beans.
Shredded Wheat, Coffee and a nice strong BlackSip :(

Whatever is the matter, SD?
I'm having slow roast leg of lamb with a lovely marinade that my butcher made up for me yesterday, hasselback potatoes, roast root veg, glazed parsnips and a nice gravy with some mint jelly. I'm raiding the freezer for dessert or else I'll open one of the 9 Easter eggs I bought for the younger members of family and have stashed away in my sister's room :)
Just feeling yuk - nose all bunged up and generally under the weather.

Nothing serious :)
Leave the eggs now, Ducksie!!!! That's naughty and you know you'll not stop at one!!!!.....☺
ael googles blacksip and is still none the wiser?
Question Author
You need wine, David. You need it now.

Wow, Ducksie, that sounds amazing. We're having leg of lamb next Sunday - the in-laws are coming.
Blackcurrant flavour LemSip, ael
All that lovely dinner I said I'm having and gness... you home in on the eggs hahaha I just wish I could lock the door, I'm not clever enough to tell myself there are no eggs in there ;)
