I 'retired' when I was 40 due to health problems. That was about 13 years ago and have done some voluntary work for Oxfam since as well as looking after my two 'delightful' felines. Prior to my retiring I worked for about 24 years as a civil servant.
I'm a Kola Cube sizer, recently promoted from Black Striped Balls inspector.
It's very demanding but our team always find time to see the funny side of life, especially now on the run up to the inclusive, bland, non-specific winter holiday period.
Don't forget to brush at least twice a day.
I work full-time at a large military engineering workshop that was MOD until sold into private sector last year. I'm a director's PA. I think I'll be lost without purpose when I have to retire.
I am retired...hugely successful with a palatial villa in the Mediterranean and only come on AB to help the underpriveliged, mentally challenged and the poor people with answers to their insanely stupid questions.
It passes the time I suppose.

Morning all , I am the only one in our family that is still working, I was looking forward to retirement but if i pass my next medical for driving i will carry on working a bit longer...I don't like the job's Mrs Moony has planned for me to do so i will choose work as a easier option. Anything for a quiet life for me.
Retired last year, after a month of wallowing on the sofa and pigging out, I got a grip on reality. I now go swimming regularly and volunteer for AOHL.
