Now if I had said that Dougie, the easily-offended here on AB would be howling for my head on a platter !

I speak as a fan of Boris ( although not his politics obviously) and while I think he can be very funny and entertaining, he still needs a haircut once in a while. I am not sure if his Mum is still with us, but I can see her taking him by the ear and marching him down to the Barbers !

This isn't to do with his politics; it's that he is personally totally unprincipled and untrustworthy, in a way I would never say of Cameron or Osborne, for instance. He is not worthy of your fandom.
