I'd crack themindividually into a bowl and decant into another bowl. Then I'd scramble them.
Probably.

Put them in cold water. If they float, they're off.

If you have enough why don't you crack one open as a tester.
^^The domestic goddesses have spoken:-)^^
I'm sure they'll be fine.
We collect our own eggs, they don't come with a "use by" date, or even a "best before" date. They last for ages if refrigerated. If you are worried do as Tilly or Ummmm has suggested.
you need to train the emus to stamp them, ozzy.
They will be fine. Old eggs are better for baking.
Good idea Jno
Hmmm. Should I squirt ink down their throats?
The answer to this type of question is always to try it and see. It's unlikely to be off but may not be at its best nutrition or taste wise.
They should be OK.
How did your train trip to Lands End/John o' Groats go?
Do as ummmm said...when eggs are "off", gas collects in them and that is why they will float. I don't know that they will necessarily smell bad ...until they are very far gone.
They'll be totally fine. Anyway, eggs should not be kept in the fridge - that's why supermarkets put them on the ordinary shelves!
Eggs should be kept at a consistent temperature. Rare you get that in a kitchen.
Supermarkets may keep eggs on ambient shelves...but the labels say "refrigerate after purchase". They will keep longer at a constant cool temperature, rather than at room temperature.
Especially with the room temperature changing.

I think the advice is similar to meat and they are better not cooked straight from the fridge.
Good luck with the eggs gordie..........I wouldn't touch them.
I have used eggs a month "out of date" and they were fine. The yolk capsule loses strength so they are more likely to break if fried but apart from that not a problem.
Supermarkets keep eggs out on shelves only because they will be there for just a short time, not because that's how they *should* be stored.
I am somebody who never looks at sell by, use by, dates etc.
I have never had an egg that wasnt fine despite my lazy ways.
How on earth can somebody decide that a particular egg, despite when it was delivered and how it is stored etc is unsable after a particular date beats me.
p.s. if something smells ok it is!
