We're having free-range corn-fed chook, pork & crackling, farmers' market pigs in blankets, stuffing, roasties, parsnips, carrots, asparagus, purple sprouting, broccoli, sprouts, mixed kale, savoy cabbage, creamed spinach, broccoli and peas.

This will be washed down with Primitive and Chardonnay / viognier.

We've just had a lovely bowl of my home-made celery and stilton soup, and a slice of granary bread, washed down with lovely fresh tap water
I was going to do myself a Rump Beef Monday roast, but as I didn't get the meat out of the freezer yesterday, it'll have to be Lasagne and chips!
We're having coddle today.
Asparagus wrapped in parma ham to start. Steak and chips for main.
How many are you cooking for? That's a lot of food....

OH is in Kitchen preparing a Curry for tonight and a Cottage Pie for tomorrow.
Had really nice Sunday Pork Roast yesterday, so it's something different today

I prefer to make loads, Ummmm, and then I've got a couple of lunches for work.

Soup sounds nice, factor. I'm not a fan of raw celery but don't mind it cooked.

Hi Red, I'm not too bad. Just got back from Lake District yesterday but sad to learn we've lost our most recent addition to the family. She was only 2 days old so that's one funeral I am really dreading :( Give my love to Rowan x

went out for a meal out the other day , asked the waitress what the soup of the day was, she replied "its bean soup". I replied "I didn't ask what it was but what it is now" boom boom, sorry could not resist.
I'm off to a street fair in the hope that the hog roast hasn't run out yet!
Yesterday's leftover roast with new potatoes and a variety of salads.

It's my birthday and I really cannot be arsed :-)

Salad tonight seeing as i'll be in my own house. G and her family will be having leftover roast pork loin from yesterday. Hmmm - might stay a bit longer...........
