So what's on the menu then?

I'm at parents' house (completely spur of the moment decision) and we have lamb leg steaks and belly pork with a vast array of veggies, etc.

What's cooking at yours?

Sod all, far too fragile.

Death by alcohol last night, B00?
Just had a pasta salad for lunch and having half a pizza and chips for tea....lazy Sunday for me :)
About to make a fry up but also feel too fragile...
Just a tad NoM, gone are the days when I could shrug it off by lunchtime the following day, I feel like a corpse :-(
Question Author
There are a number of Ab'ers united in fragility I think...

A Fry up would probably see you right, Ummmm.

Nothing wrong with a lazy Sunday, QoM
Question Author
I had a drop of white port last night after my paella, but I don't feel too bad at all.
I know NoM I certainly feel I deserve it today as it has been a very busy week and next week is looking very much the same :)

Roast shoulder of lamb, prefer leg, but looking after the pennies.
Why is everyone so fragile. Did one partake of too much booze. If I'm wrong I apologise and hope you all feel better soon.x
Just had onion soup, and cheese on toast. Venison in red wine for dinner, if I can get round to doing it

That sounds good, QoM. When I have a rather busy week, I tend not to cook and invariably opt for an Indian or similar.

Having spent the last few weekends with the new man captive, I've been wined and dined rather a lot (crash diet will inevitably commence rather soonish).

Cupid, like you I prefer Leg. I did a shoulder of lamb recently and I am not sure what I did to it, but it was absolutely revolting.

Zebo, I had venison once and if my memory serves me correctly, it was rather yummy. I see you can buy quite a selection of game in M&S now.
After eating a 12inch pizza and half a garlic bread last night, washed down with 3 beers - I am eating relatively little today!
Loved it going down, but I over did it and had a bloated uncomfortable belly all night! Eyes bigger than belly for sure!!
Lunch today was tuna salad and evening meal probably a baked chicken breast with whatever is lurking in the fridges/cupboards
I don't really feel like eating but there's people upstairs and my son asked me very very nicely (one is Marty's nephew, haven't a clue who the other one is) Lazy gits, son has just checked on them and they are asleep!!!
Lamb shoulder, roasties, swede and carrot, white cabbage. Now stuffed, watching the hailstones!
Bacon Butty earlier round at the parent's house in front of the log fire (heating up after the pouring rain this morning),
and Kippers later for dinner with buttered bread and a big mug of tea :-) Perfect, haven't had kippers in years (not a vegetable in sight so far I'm afraid!)
-- answer removed --
Love kipper kedgeree. No longer able to buy kippers from local shops. Going to try with smoked mackerel.
I am eating a big packet of Wotsits. The nice man from Tesco has just delivered them with my 18 litres of Pepsi Max. I got some catnip too - we might all get stones on it.
I've chucked a joint of beef joint the slow cooker with some BBQ sauce, we'll have that with some homemade coleslaw, jackets, corn on the cob and salad. can't be arsed to do anything to demanding cos I too am a bit fragile after too much drink last night. Methinks I'll stay off those Desperados in future.
slow cooker stew with mash veg and yorkshire puddings !
