Clementines

I bought a bag of clementines yesterday from Tesco and having just eaten one wondered if anyone had had some that really taste more like grapefruit than orange? I'm not complaining, I think they are quite nice, but just wondered if anyne else had noticed this, or are my taste glands up the wall?

Clementines do have a slightly bitter after taste (unlike oranges) – so I don’t think there is anything wrong with your taste-buds.

You might like to try Tesco own brand clemetine juice (as an alternative to orange juice), they currently have it on offer at two 1 litre cartons for £3 (as opposed to £1.75 per litre).
