Are Minlton's sterilising tablets ok (for babies utensils etc.), or do I need something else?

fine, if you have a dishwasher just put them through that
I usually just wash mine myself in very hot soapy water., Rinse in hot water then drain to dry if I'm going to store them away.
If I'm going to put chutney/jam in them, I put them wet into the oven then turn on the oven to about 100c and leave them there until I am ready to fill them, or about 20 minutes, whichever suits.
areful taking them out, though. They are hot hot hot!

Thanks very much ladyalex! Silly question maybe, but would they shatter in the oven?? It's a halogen one btw?
I do mine in the oven, and no, I've never had one shatter
Why not put them in a cold oven, then switch it on. They'll then warm up as the oven does, and this'll reduce any chance of shattering
