Planning on having gammon eggs and chips for tea tonight, can I warm up the left over gammon and if so, which would be the best way?

You could slice it and fry like bacon, but be careful not to overcook.
I usually slice it and put a little water over it and microwave it for a short time. the water is to stop it getting all dried up. If you have lots of gammon left over why not freeze it for another day?

Thanks for your answers Anngel and nungate. I have a George Forman grill and was wondering if I could warm it on that but I think it will porobably dry it out too much.
Both answers are good; although my preference would be to cut thickly the gammon and fry as suggested by Ann. Keeping the heat somewhat low and constantly turning the 'steaks' to brown nicely on both sides.

Yummy. I might even do that this evening for Viv and me.

Thanks Ron. I have to get the frying pan out for the eggs so think I will try that.
We're having ours cold, thinly sliced, with saute potatoes and carrots.
I'm getting a bit fed up with gammon.Hopefully will finish it tomorrow in a paella.
I wouldn't fancy it warmed up .It'll be dry .I prefer it sliced up cold .It's just ham really .
Gammon, egg and chips should be fresh ,Cold gammon should be just cold gammon .
Its probably gone now - but you could have steamed it between 2 plates over a pot of water.
