Interesting things to do with cucumbers

It looks like I will be loused out with cucumbers over the next few weeks. Any ideas as to what I can do with them please, other than chop them up in a salad?

Does raita have cucumber in? Indian style salads are lovely with everything chopping up really finely with cucumber, tomato, onion etc... for a slightly different kind of salad with a nice indian dish like indian style lamb chops or samosas or as a main with lamb and spinach.

Yes raita does (what Lore said :)).

They are nice as dipping things too. Seems to go well with salmon (in sandwiches anyway) so maybe go a bit inventive as an accompaniment to that.

I make this dish,pasta(not spaghetti) tuna fish,diced cucumber,raw onion,and sweetcorn mixed up with either mayo or salad cream,goe's down a treat at barbies ect.

apparently you can use the cucumber skins as a deterant for ants, If you have an ants nest you can put the skins nxt to it and they dont like them and move away.
