Why what has happened?

Do you want to know what a 'worse' couple of years sounds like?
My favourite recipe is an old Geordie one: Poisson accompagné par les pommes de terre frites, aussi les pois 'mushy'.
Hi Bobbi. The Bedfordshire Clanger?
Wondered where you were Bobbi, hope you're ok!............regional dish!........suppose it's larvae bread, not that I've every tried it, not brave enough, it looks horrid!........

Question Author
oooh Jan I thought it was native to here only, I do too

Prudie,,, err what is knobs?
and 237 tell me what this is please
how do you make panackelty Bobbi!.................like the name, no idea what it is!...........
Bobbi - think its a long pastry thing with a meat pasty sort of mixture in one end and your pudding in the other. Guess you have to make sure you label which end to bite into first!
My grandparents were geordies Bobbi, from South Shields, my nan used to make it so that's why I like it.
Hoggs Pudding is a bit like haggis but it`s made with pork and looks like a big sausage. My mum used to make it when my dad killed a pig. It has pearl barley in and is fried. It`s quite nice with lots of pepper and salt.
Dorset Knobs - a savoury biscuit thing
Panackelty is basically the remains of Sunday lunch fried up on Monday. In some areas of he NE it is also known as a 'caad waam up'. Bobbi will translate.
