Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

Heater isn't the issue Neti, I have got heaters, I need to stop them getting too warm BUT have the heater kick in before they freeze and then turn off again. The temp I need to keep them is between 2c and 8c.

DNA results reveal that OH is about 1% Neanderthal. This is actually quite low; the average is about 2%. I suppose I deserve congratulations for marrying someone more Sapiens than most people but I can only say it's not always obvious around the house.
