Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

Many thanks

Lol Woofy ,I'll bring my own straw and feeding bowl .
I used to get lots of dear little meeces in the garden on the bird feeders but since the cat moved in next door they've probably moved on to pastures new if they had any sense .

I'm taking antihistamine atm Jude ,I'd take Bob Martins too if I thought it would clear this up :)
Well Shaney whatever you take I really hope it works for you. It must be 2 or 3 weeks now.
Evening gang, hope we are all feeling OK.

Really wintry here now, after coffee this am I had to buy bubblewrap and a big padded envelope, then rush home in the pouring rain, spend ages trying to pack some ankle stilettos safely, so ended up stuffing 2 dresses inside the boots alond with the belt and a pen drive full of films and progs and managing to get it all reasonably packed, then wrapped all that in polythene bags to waterproof the parel, rush back to PO in the teeming rain, aha I thought it will be empty cos only mad people will come out in this weather, well bggr me there were 20 people in front of me and only two desks open, luckily a lot of people had given up so my number came round quickly. Then had to express the parcel as her friend is going to Dubai to take the things next Monday and the Spanish Postal system being what it is, it would take 6 days to Madrid! Nearly 20€!! Just hope it takes 24 hrs as they promised! Had quick coffee with gbf to recover and then fought the wind and rain all the way uphill back to the villa. Cold and wet. But soon warmed up and made Cottage Pie for dinner. Now cuddled in bed waiting for my soaps.
I then spend the afternoon repairing the anorak I got at the cancer fair, and added a fake fur collar, so looks quite good now. The zip needs repairing but have stitched it together at the bottom, so will have to leap in and out of the coat for a while!
lol neti, even in damp London quite a few people seem to go to the Post Office before Christmas; can't think what that's all about.
Watching Bette Midler, she is great!
Good morning.. chilly here
Am having a cuppa in bed. Cosy and warm.
Hope you are all OK.
Morning all...brightening up... the weather that is, I'm always grey in the winter.

Since they revamped our PO it's gone downhill. The woman was (unusually) shirty with me last week because I dared to ask for stamps at the wrong point...the right one was one whole step to her right. Tut. I thought it would save me queuing at the 'windows'. You'd think they'd have stamps in a PO on every paydesk. I'd normally have laughed it off but I was feeling touchy that day. A man in the queue behind me raised his eyebrows and smiled, made me feel better.... but I don't forget :)

I watched Bette too neti, she is great, but then I do like slightly barmy women....Liza, Shirley Mclaine, Paloma Faith, Lady Gaga...and the biddies.

good morning all fik fog here.
Today i would like to big up the "vague Service" at the GPO. I had cleverly managed to post my card for my paper boy in with my stamped cards. It had a small tip in it and when i had realised what i had done I thought oh well that's gone. Today I got delivered an envelope from the vague office with the card and the money in! They had opened it and I had put my house number and street on the inside so they sent it back! at no charge!! I guess I am not the first person to do it.
maybe I should be working there?
Can't believe the packet I posted express yesterday at 13.30 was delivered in Madrid this am. Even for Express that is quick!!
Hello all
It's a bright cold day. Hope you're all ok .
Yes I watched Bette ,she's lovely .
That's good service from the PO Woofy. The postage I paid to Australia was more than than the cost of the little gift I sent to my SiL !

Mini Cooper tube free except for feeding tube, his mum got to dress him today, he is doing well.

that's excellent news. Tortoise heater thermostat has gone for a burton and so has the replacement. Have got a plug in thermostatically controlled socket thing so am going to try plugging heater into that and more monitoring.
Oh blimey woofy, you'll be up all night again, take them to bed with you to keep them warm.
Question Author
warm isn't the problem Neti, that would be easy. They have to be kept between 3 and 8 degrees c. Too warm and they wake, too cold and they freeze.
Crikey Woofy you have such patience with your animals. I have one blackbird visitor at the moment. But I have seen a cat once or twice in my garden so I imagine that's whats keeping them away.
I like Bette too. I watched Judi Dench in Mrs Hendersonspresents the other night and really enjoyed it. I didn't know what to expect.
I'm happy to hear Mini Cooper and Mum And Dad are ok. Especially the baby.
Had a lovely lunch today there were 14 of us from Tai Chi and one or two other friends. Then I nipped to school to take them some Chocs for Christmas. Tomorrow it is there concert and I've been invited to go and see it.
Off out again now for a bit more shopping then tonight it to Pride Park to see The Rams play Chelsea. Laters gaters.
No idea what to suggest woofy, what about a lightbulb over the box/hutch whatever, it works with hatching eggs, I believe. We had a tortoise here but it sleep outside as obviously not as cold here, not that I would like to sleep outside now, although have done in the past!!
Shell suits, that's what the torts need...

Well done baby Cooper, he's making amazing progress. Whatever he's on, I'll have some, I feel like I've been used for a football.

Some tortoise owners use larder fridges because you can keep the temperature stable. I have had two larder fridges used for food, not tortoises, go haywire in the night and generate ice so I haven't got the bottle for that. I just need to get the thermostat sorted and all will be fine.
Oh bless him Neti .I hope he'll soon be well enough to go home .
I hope your esiotrot will be alright Woofy .Must be difficult with the weather up and down ,it's supposed to get milder for a few days.
passes the football back and forth with Robinia
