Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

Decided to clean only two box like shelves in the kitchen today, gawd what a mess, took ages, it's where the oils and sauces are kept and I had lined it with silver foil, well that has stuck fast to the shelf and was all greasy, took a while to get some of it off, then gave up and covered it again! i felt filthy so had a shower and washed hair. I should be ashamed to let shelves get in that state but hey, I have a life!!

Some of my cupboards don't bear looking at too closely so I wouldn't worry about it .I save jobs like that for when I'm totally bored:)

Hi all. Sorry I've had not been able to think about anything until I sorted out the loss of my debit card on Tuesday. Anyway after a middle of the night phone call to the bank and a trip to town again this morning I've finally sorted it. They are sending me a new one and having seen my passport and let me draw some cash out. Phew.
Managed to relax yesterday for an hour to go and see the children's Christmas Extravaganza at school. They were a treat to watch. Classes 1 and 2 so very young.
Shaney have you finished the antibiotics, you may need some more if you have.

Lovely neti...and no people, just how I like it. Well maybe not deserted, I just can't be doing with crowds anymore.
I've had a lazy afternoon, I thought about going shopping but I came over all squiggly, headachey and gripey so I thought again. Might be the weather, the wind's howling down the chimbley, good thing it's not bitterly cold. Blue bin day tomorrow, I hope it doesn't blow them over tonight...some of us don't weigh ours down with empty gin bottles ;)

Dont feel like cooking but deep joy, I've found a baking spud that needs using up...and just enough cheese to make it interesting. I spect there'll be a bit of grated knuckle in there too....must buy a new mouli-grater.

Oh goodness Jude.I'm so glad you got sorted out .
I remember that awful sinking feeling when my handbag was stolen and all my cards ,keys etc with it .
I'm ok...it's just this damned cough .I think it's the constant nasal drip that causes it and no amount of nasal squirty stuff will shift it .

Oh dear, I have lost a half eaten packets of Love Hearts in the bed, now this is not good for two reasons.
a) Mr N will know that I've been secretly eating rubbish

or zoot alors!

b) He will find one that says "My hero" "Looking good" or "Kiss me tonight" and then it's ???? ........................................

jude I didn't know you'd lost your card either. Isn't that a nightmare? I actually never lose mine but cancel it when I cannot find it and then it turns up in a pocket somewhere.

lovely houe, can I have one. Its horrible when you lose a card. I lost one recently but it wasn't my bank card. The last time I lost that was a few years ago, did all the rigmarole and got a replacement then found it in the freezer stuck to a joint of beef.

Many years ago Mr S lost a little wallet with all his cards in plus his travel card which was paid up front for the year which he was most annoyed about.
Searched high and low to no avail and he had to cancel them all. Some years later when we pulled the very heavy chest of drawers type tallboy thing out prior to moving ,there it was down the back . Shows you what an excellent domestic goddess I am ....not .Lol.

Morning all...bright 'n breezy here....if only I was.

Lol shaney, I haven't moved the chest of drawers in my bedroom since I bought it about 5 years ago. I'm too afraid it might revert to being a flat-pack if I do. There's a gap underneath and if it is ever moved I expect to find...an assortment of tube/spray/jar tops....several earring butterflies....loose change...odd socks...pegs (don't ask)....not to mention a heap of (prescribed) drugs. There's probably 600mg of ibuprofen and I don't even take it.
