Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

Many thanks

Headline news, I haven't bothered to read the rest, but they have "detained" the fat man who killed the donkey!
Ah the donkeys are only a few months old and are for decoration in the belen, he jumped the fence and posed for a photograph on the poor donkey, the police have arrested him for maltreating an animal. Is that a word you use? or cruelty to an animal. He's 38 yrs old and should know better.

Neti, mine has never been cleaned since it was new five years ago!!!!!!!!! It got that whatever I cooked in there, it smelt of roast meat.
Got mine in 1999 and it's been cleaned twice, it's an awful spanish cooker either on or off, no thermostat and corrugated walls so dirt and grease stick to it forever.
but it cooks everything well so am leaving it.
Had a fox round the garden today - instead of jumping over the nearest fence when it saw me coming it just ran round and round the edges and dislodged a drainpipe from the guttering , so that's a little something more to fix/get fixed.

Our Saudi neighbour came over with wine and food for a Christmas present - actually it's just stuff he didn't get through, as he's going home tomorrow. So lots of crab sticks and dates. But some decent-looking chardonnay too.

I went back to podiatry and they said my toe is okay and the healing should be over by Christmas - where have I heard that before.

OH has gone to a Christmas party. I celebrated by putting the rubbish out, but managed to lock myself out as well. Fortunately the guy upstairs has a spare set of our keys , and was in, so I am not freezing on the corner in my slippers. This'll teach OH to leave me on my own.

So just another dull day chez moi.

Jno, I have got a bunch of keys that lives by the door and I grab whenever I go out to do things like get the mail, another bunch in my car, a bunch hidden in the garage and a bunch hidden in the garden, the door key I take with me when I go out AND a neighbour has got a set. I am really good at shutting myself out and am determined that it WON'T happen.
I have a set on the door which I "always" take out with me and in fact this is the first time in years I hadn't. I didn't forget, exactly, I thought I felt them in a pocket, but that was just the little torch I take to check the bins are the right colour. No point in leaving a spare under the doormat, though, DirectLine would have a fit.

My hidden ones are really hidden. They are a last resort. Only I know where they are and I'd have to be in serious need of them before I retrieved them because it wouldn't be easy or pleasant.
Question Author
my turn for the night shift, no idea why.
I'm definitely thinking of going to bed myself.
Question Author
went to bed, started a train of difficult thoughts.
Good morning all.

woofy hope you got some peaceful sleep eventually.

Our doors do not lock automatically thank heavens, so sometimes I go out and leave the key in the lock !! There is a spare hidden in laundry room (which is outside) in case I lose my keys or handbag.

Sunny but chilly here, still abed with a cuppa, mmmm!
slept through to 6am, so I suspect a nap is on the cards later in the day.
Morning all...I woke at six too but I'd had about 6hrs sleep give or take...dull & chilly breeze but it's supposed to be a balmy 12C.

Lol @ jno...sorry, getting locked out isn't funny. My doors are no longer those that lock when they slam but I could just slither through the keyhole. You could have gone carol singing, someone might have taken you in.
When I go out I try if possible to put my keys in a safe pocket and not in my bag. If you get it snatched they've got your house keys and there's usually something to give away your name/address in it.

here I am on my train of troubled thoughts...where's the communication cord?! waves

good to see someone in charge of a train of thought, mine at 6am gets out of hand

hello all, we finally settled to sleep at around 03.30 so are having a lazy day to make up for it. I can usually derail unhappy trains of thought but not last night. Heigh ho, what doesn't kill us.....
Hello all
Another dreary day at the office . Had a rotten night too,not bad thoughts just cough bloomin' cough .I don't cough all day but as soon as put my noddle on the pillow off it goes. I wish I could shake this off.
Lol Jno ...the thought of you hanging about on a street corner in your slippers amused me ..sorry :)
I always keep my keys in my pocket if possible .I got locked out years ago after going out to some birthday celebration for a work colleague ,forgot my keys and had to chuck gravel up at the windows and shout through the letterbox.
A sleepyhead eventually came down and let me in .I had visions of spending the night in the porch .
