Are these as easy as they look? My daughter is almost 4 and as it is a 25min walk to school it is too far for her to walk and I currently use a pushchair which she is getting more reluctant to go in! The seats I have looked at are well within her weight but I am worried I won't be able to ride my bike with her on the back. Has anyone used these before and what are they like?

i would definately recommend them. i use mine everyday with my three year old in tow. she loves it too.

there really isn't any difference in the weight so long as your child doesn't wobble in the seat....lol

she'll need a helmet and the seat has straps so she'll feel safe & snug.

the people you get the seat from will fit it onto your bike for you too.

good luck and happy cycling!!

thanks I've just ordered one so hope it works out ok!
great news.
you won't regret it. :-)
be careful as most have a weight cut off limit i think 22kgs
but it varies seat to seat, most fit 1-4 years old so check before you buy,
can she ride a bike if so what about a tagalong, it attaches to your bike
