telegram from Queen!

Can you tell me if you can get a telegram from the Queen on your 90th Birthday please?

No. It's for your 100th birthday but I believe you have to apply for one. The are not automatically sent out.

You cannot get a telegram from the Queen or from anybody else. The inland telegram service was ceased in 1982 and replaced by the telemessage service.

The Queen now send congratulatory cards for 100th, 105th and subsequent birthdays. An application has to be made – it is not done automatically.
