If your skies are clear keep your eyes out for Aurora sightings. We've had messages and photos from Harrogate and as far south as Oxford and Kent.
Bit too cloudy here in Kerry.

Just been told there are amazing views in Scotland. Would love to know if you see this. Only once for me in Mayo. Donegal is getting some.
Blow, I missed the red alert on my phone, I've never had a red alert before!
There have been some amazing photos on our local on-line site, Gness but not allowed to share .... these from a few weeks back. Too late to go down to the beach tonight but there will be some folks out with their cameras. Strange as the Aurora used to only be seen if away up North and even aeroplane trips to see them.
Started here about 8.45. Best I’ve seen for ages. Stopped watching after an hour!

You could always watch here

Too cloudy still. Didn't know you could get a phone alert....sorry you missed yours, Zebo.
It's many years since I saw the Aurora in Mayo and we were stunned to see it there, Haz.
Glad you've seen it, Tuvok and thanks for the webcam link.
How much have you had loveXx

Bums! Great pictures from Sligo so the Sligo and Mayo cousins will be gloating.....well I suppose I gloated when we won Sam.

Happy you're well and smiling, Arky.
Amazing in Glasgow tonight!

So I gather, Jim. Lots of great photos. Nothing here further south than Connemara that I know of.
It's unusual for the "nimble men" to be visible in Glesga. as opposed to our friends in Lewis and Shetland. I went out into the street to marvel at them, only to view pretty much all of my neighbours doing the same!
Question Author
Well I had to look up Nimble Men, Jim. I really don't know enough about Scottish folklore despite my years in Little Scotland.
Skimming through there seem to be fascinating stories about them. Will read some more.
Glad you and your neighbours had a good sighting.
Gness/ If you google "Aurora lights Dunbar" you will see some good photos BUT these are not from tonight. This seems to be a hot-spot.

Thanks, Haz. Had a quick look but I’m on my little gadget. Well worth a look on the big machine in the morning.
