Our railway station has extended the car park by (I don't know what it's called) putting another level above. It's metal....
Maybe hospitals should do the same.

Of course employees of the NHS shouldn't have to pay to park their cars, ALL employees and neither should patients or visitors.

Money is wasted in the NHS (in my opinion)..staff overpaid, including Consultants, money absolutely haemorrhaging from the NHS ( see link above) and yet staff and patients are charged for parking....scandalous!

Why not? When I worked in a city I had to buy a weekly ticket to park my car which worked out at nearly 5% of my salary. He'res a question though -Do employees of Supermarkets that require ticket car parking get free parking or is there an employees car park The same thing should be done for Hospital employees -whoever they are.
I think parking at hospitals and other NHS facilities should be free - for everyone using the services provided.
Should it be free for employees? That's more problematical - you could ask why are NHS staff different from any other worker who has to pay to park whilst at work?
What about Teachers - should schools have to provide free on-site parking?
What about Police Officers?
What about Fire Fighters?
Where do you stop?
