I keep getting calls from these people and they just won't stop.

They won't give their number or trading address and just hang up when I ask.

On two occations I have threatened to sue them for harrassment if they continue but they still do.

Does anyone know what theirn contact details are please?

Is this a 'consumer lifestyles' survey? I have had quite a few of those. They say they will take my name off the list but the calls still come

TBH I can't understand their accent very well.

I think I might go through the rigmarole of 'sort of' answering their questions and see what happens.
Do they sound as if they are ringing from the Far East- Singapore or somewhere

Sounds like India.

When I ask for their contact details they just hang up!!
I regularly get these calls, cassa.

If you answer their questions, some of their 'partners' will then plague you with calls dependent upon your answers........

......unless like me when they ask if it's okay if someone contacts you you answer with a firm, "No, it's not".
Get caller display on your phone.

After they ring, save their number into your phonebook under the name 'Ignore'.

Either that or simply don't answer any overseas calls, witheld numbers or odd looking numbers. Important callers will leave a message and you can call them back.
When I hear a foreign accent on the phone nowadays, I just hang up.
Without any details its hard for us to help you cassa.
So do I whirley. But my Pakistani mother in law is getting a bit fed up with me.
Try here - they will stop the calls for you - it's free -

http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/number_type.html
The TPS only covers UK call centres though :-(
The TPS is about as useful as a chocolate tea pot.
TPS also doesn't stop calls from BT! Apparently by having a line with them, it isn't deemed to be cold calling.
I have caller display and voice mail. When I get a call from either a number I do not recognise or the number is withheld then I do not answer it.If the call is important then they will leave message on voice mail.
There was a program regards this last week Cassa, they advised person to say, ( Apart from the obvious) Please DO NOT ring this number again. there have been a number of these call centres fined for this abuse.
