Leaping blondes day?

Fantastic!
Daughter has got A*,A*,A*,A enabling her to take her place at Oxford University in October!!! This has been her dream since primary school and she has achieved it all through the State school system. Very proud of her and the education she has received for free.

I don't remember doing a cartwheel when I got mine.

That's excellent, Mrss! Well done to her.......and you

........and her school.
Congratulations to your daughter Mrsspag, you must be incredibly proud.
I didn't cartwheel, my results came through the post, we had none of this having to go into the school to collect them in my day.
When did the fashion start to get the results from school rather than the post? my came via mail back in 84 (O levels)
mrsspagnoli.....whether in the 50's. 80's or indeed today....those results indicate good parenting and hard work.

Well done to the family and particularly your daughter.
Four aces is a very good hand, MrsS. Well done her! And the family and school too.
A big 'Well done' to MissSpagnoli - I wish her a great future.
I'm getting a bit too old and creaky to leap over a blonde.
My son got his AS level results (half way through A Levels) today, he got
Maths A
Computing B
Physics C
Chemistry C

He only needs maths and computing for his chosen degree course in a year's time, with one other subject to be above grade C, so he is on track.
He is disappointed with all but the maths result but was expecting the physics one to be poor, several of the year group have had to complain about the teacher not knowing the subject very well, being poor at explaining and having high absence rates.
He intends to re-sit certain modules of the Chemistry and Computing exams and has dropped Physics for next year.
Congrats to Mrsspagnoli57's daughter, those are outstanding results! :)
Good luck for the future to your son too Daffy - shame if the tutor is not up to the task.
Thank you Mamya :)
Not exactly the same but my granddaughter heard yesterday that she had passed her final exam and is now a qualified accountant. I am so chuffed.
Congrats to your daughter dannyk13.
*granddaughter*
Thanks Daffy.
