If I have, it's most definitely not the USA...
It sounds like you were allowed to watch too much TV as a child, Dolt ;-)

I often think that I belong on another planet!
I just thought I'd give the OP both perspectives on the subject...........
of course, I pine for my home country (it's not the USA, though). There used to be a palm tree outside our front door.
Never I am firmly planted where I was born and happy to be so, I do not envy anyone with wanderlust. But then that may make me a stick-in-the-mud.

Jno, what a lovely setting,,,,,,,,,,,,,a palm tree on your door step" sounds lovely!
But I'm not looking for paradise, it's just!!!!!!!!! oh I cant really explain it!
I love visiting other countries but am always pleased to come home again. If I was going to live abroad it would be in France.
No, not really, but there are several I wouldn't mind being in. I do feel as though certain people are on another planet though!
Since the wave of immigrants legal/illegal have been moving to the UK in the past 10/15 years, I feel like a stranger.

They claim benefits when they arrive when they have never paid any tax etc and if we try to deport them, they claim their human rights, which is granted.

No other country puts up with this crap except us, we are to soft!

Get it sorted out Cameron, like he promised
There's nowhere on the planet better than Scotland but if I was ever to live abroad again rural Southern France would do nicely
