Hi, my Aunt has been taken into care and has she has no family and as i live nearest it has been put onto me to try and sort out her finances. She has her own house but has made no provisions for things to be sorted out. I realise the Social Benefits will take her house to pay her care, but how do i go about sorting out her bank accounts etc. What is the best thing to do. Thank you.

is your aunt still of sound mind and able to make decisions? If so then she could sort her own affairs out. Or, you could visit her at the home with a solicitor and get a power of attourney over her financia affairs.
If neither of the above apply then my next suggestion would be to ask at her bank or look at this website for more ideas http://www.publicguardian.gov.uk/
