Unfortunately I'm a bit of a heretic, as I couldn't give a toss. However I will say that one swallow doesn't make a summer. The new manager was not playing yesterday; the players were. From what little I know about the situation, the treatment meted out to the previous manager is nothing short of disgraceful. This is what happens when business magnates are in charge of football clubs, and Newcastle has had plenty of those. I may be wrong, but I predict tears in the future.
