Yes
Second thoughts, no. People born blind will not have seen one, either
Funnily enough I saw one yesterday!
I haven't either. Most shops here wouldn't touch them. Too much of a loss if they turn out to be forgeries.

Probably.
seen lots

i must be really poor i think. I have honestly never touched or seen one ::)
i've had a couple, and held a couple too at work.

Hate getting them at work- such a faff.
I once went Christmas shopping with one.
You've probably never seen a 500 euro note then bednobs?
I wondered if I was being given mickey mouse money when I first came across them.

nah
Back in the 1980s our school office staff were always happy to cash cheques for teachers. (It meant that they had less cash to worry about on the premises).

However they preferred that wrote our cheques for at least £50, so that they could get rid of their £50 notes. (So I frequently ended up with them in my wallet).
What I could never work out though was where they were actually getting £50 notes from, since most of the money in their safe came from the school dinner money collected from the kids!
I've seen them but only from a distance
It's well known in the trade, that when a builder presents a bullseye to pay for pub drinks, there's always a huge guffaw.

Apparently, they only turn up when he's paid for a job in cash.

Not that I would know, of course, but I've heard ;o)
Just seen a Pig Flying passing our window Builder lol
I have had the odd £50 note. They are a very gaudy colour and look forged even when they're real. Quite horrible really, but I wish I had a wad of them!
Banks don't seem to issue them because we did a building job for someone who paid in cash and got £2000 in 20's - and yes it did go into the account and would have been much easier to count in 50's. Scottish notes get me -I hate accepting them in the shop as I'm never sure if they are real -especially if they are new.
loads ..ask for them at bank for shopping..saves space in purse !
In a job i used to do , i was on several occasions in a room surrounded by tons of cash - several hundred thousand pounds .
handling £50 pound notes got boring after a while

Many years ago I can remember my mother having a white £20 note it was white and about 4 times the size of our ones now .
