probate

my father has recently died and all his estate is going through probate my father bought a house with a mortgage which me and my family have been renting of him now its all going through any payment and all his accounts are frozen do i still need to pay any rent or do we wait till the probate has been sorted out then will have to back pay any mortgage payments

You need to discuss this with the executor of his will. On th facts you give, yes you will have to pay rent but the executor should tell you how this is to be dealt with. It may be that it will have to go into a holding account until the estate has been wound up, & then paid over to whoever the beneficiary is under the will.
