The temperate weather has really been lovely these last few weeks have you found this has helped you stay off the winter warming comfort food a little longer?

Just the same, can't complain.....
Oh dear, not a good week for us all then so far. Only 1lb for me again this week which is a bit disheartening but will give myself a kick up the backside and carry on. Time to start with the soup recipes I think as a very grey and chilly day today.
Jan because you have lost quite a lot you will slow done . 1lb is better than gaining just like I have done all because I kept forgetting to get batteries but got them now and mean business for next week.
Forgetting the batteries eh ? No wonder you feel run down all the time.
LOL O-G yes I need my batteries charging.
Glad you've got your batteries now Wendilla. I know I shouldn't be disappointed with a 1lb loss and have been told off by friends when I said I was a bit disheartened so just done my on line Tesco order and lots of fruit and veg on its way tomorrow. Lost my way a bit this week but will be back on track for the coming week now. Good luck all.
Good Morning All,

I have completely forgotten to weigh in today. We are leaving here on Friday for the cold north and all routines have gone out the window as usual on the count down week. Hope to hear good news though from the rest of you.
Another ⅞lbs down this week. Slow, but hopefully sure.
My fright I got with not weighing for 2 to 3 weeks because I kept forgetting batteries for scales well it has paid off been back on my healthy eating plenty of fish veg and chicken and lost 4 lbs in 9 days. Now I am on my way for that stone .Just needed that kick start.
Xstitcher when you get back you will be back to more winter food and veg so that will give you the kick start.
OLD- geezer what kind of weigh scales have you got that you can read 7/8th of a lb.
Well done OG and Wendilla. I am pleased as I've lost 2lb this week taking me to that elusive 3 stone loss! Let's hope we can all keep it up.
3 stone nearly Jan well done. You must be feeling good in clothes now . Keep up the good work . How much more would you like to lose ? I am aiming for another stone then that will be 3 stone altogether for me in a year and a half.
Thanks Wendilla but the 3 stone is a third of what I want to lose. Another 6 stone to go yet! That's how much weight I had put on since I got married 26 years ago. Without my husband I now have to do everything for myself so need to get fit again, fed up of all the aches and pains. Onwards and downwards.
I wish you all the best just think of it this way by this time next year you will not be saying that. Keep with us and good luck.Onwards and Downwards.
WW recommended ones. You have to press the set button, tap your foot on the scales, wait for the dashed line before stepping on, and then the digital read out shows you your weight to the nearest ⅛ lb (if you have set it to Imperial that is).
Sounds like you are a little step dancer OG...what fun............and how much and where does one buy these scales........
I could try to find details later, but they were originally bought as a gift for my woman, and then, when mine failed, she offered since she'd stopped using them. If I remember I'll try to google the model number. They were almost certainly bought on the Net after a quick Froogle.

Not convinced they sell them any more, but there must be a replacement model if you were interested. It can monitor loads of other stuff too if you can be bothered, and keep a record of progress. But I now only use it for it's main purpose.
No I don't want to buy one. I was just wondering about them. My scales are in kilos and grams because I don't live in the UK.

I do like that you are beginning to be a faithful person in our little place here.

Much too late for me....just had an email from my son in Afghanistan ...21 more days before he is home...and who went and celebrated that with a mince pie....yup...but..this is the second time he had been there and every time he's there I eat, when he's home the weight drops..................roll on Kristian's home coming...15 Dec.
Indeed. Although I do wonder about losing weight over Xmas. I can see you now with a bowl of lettuce leaf soup whilst the rest of the family are struggling with the size of the meal :-)
I've stayed the same this last fortnight which is good :o)
