guess you could both do what ever the hell you want really. i would personally have mine as a rocker wedding, all red and black. quite gothic looking but then some people have fairy lights everywhere. its your day so i would make it personal to you both.

Thanks everyone!

it happened on holiday lumination, we were in Crete and had a lovely day out. Then we went to a church and lit 2 candles on the "life" side for each other, then when we got back to the harbour he knelt in front of me and asked me to marry him. My ring is absolutely stunning, he chose it himself and no one else knew at all!

I am a woman T&S! Thats a good tip, its easy to get carried away and plan things yourself!

I'd love to go get married on a beach somewhere redhelen but he would like it at home so his granny can attend the wedding so we'll be having it here!

I quite agree redhelen, I have now been married for 22 years, we kept the wedding a secret and only told immediate family a couple of weeks before and had a party a couple of weeks after we returned from our honeymoon in the Seychelles. Yes I am glad we used the money on ourselves, I worked with a couple of girls, who had been planning their 's for 2 years, and they drove me mad every day. Congratulation by the way
