Does anyone know how long perfume keeps in the bottle before the scent starts to deteriorate?

Iv heard its 1 to 3 years..kept in dark place.

yes,ive also heard that sunlight makes the smell fade quicker.

Bowieblue, I keep mine in the fridge. The big bottles last for ages.
