We have spent nearly all winter with one thing or another. I think we can blame the relatively mild weather outside and the fact that as soon as it's a 'bit chilly' everyone puts the heating on. The bugs in the house then never die probably just mutate into different viruses.

I am so fed up with being not necessarily 'ill' but below par that I have since started taken more notice of vitimins and other supplements that can boost the immune system, eating more Fruit and turning the heating down. I only have it on low for an hour of so in the afternoon, and once in the night again, quite low. We put sweaters on and have the windows open on the lock, tiny crack thing and I open the back door whenever it is warm enough to do so. I throw all the bed covers back during the day instead of making the beds as the sunlight in from the window kills bedbugs and bacteria/germs find it more difficult to thrive in a setting which isn't moist/warm and dark.

We also try to walk everyday on the beach/fields if it isn't raining.

There are millions of different viruses out there, each that seem to mutate into different things ever so often. The only way to deal with them is to employ tactics to fight them off.

SOrry you've all been poorly tho, I hope you all feel better soon.
xx
I don't know why some people may have immune systems better equipped to deal with viruses than others, but I've always attributed my health to a reasonable diet, exercise and trying to be as postive as possible. (no sick days in 4 years, but I'm not boasting....well not much anyway). If I get a cold it seems to go in just a day or so, and doesn't hit me hard enough to stop me working. Can you inherit a good immune system? I'm pretty sure my parents are the same.
