Hi Why??? well done for joining you wont regrett it. I lost two stone recently on weight watchers and it does work. my tips are

1) cook all your own food from scratch using fresh ingredients as opposed to buying any healthy ready meals, you get so much more food for your points. The weight watchers cookery books are the best

2) if you exercise as well as following the points you willprobably loose weight twice as fast

3) dont try to rush it by eating less points than you are supposed to, you will not be able to keep it up and you will plateau.

4) stay for the meetings as you should be able to pick up loads of tips and you feel you get your monies worth.

5) dont bother trying to fit sweets and treats in to your points, it is much more satisfying to use 5 points on some pasta or the such as opposed to some chocolate.

6) if you drink wine make it a spritzer with some diet lemonade or fizzy water, you cab make a 7 point bottle of wine last twice as long

7) dont give up if you have a bad week. You eill have at least one week when you put weight on. Just carry on.

Good Luck
I think the Weight Watchers diet is the best as it teaches you about healthy eating which you can do every day but on the odd day where you feel like eating chocolate you can! (as long as you count it) and so you don't feel deprived. My top tips are: Save some points for the time of day where you always need a snack (either mid morning or mid afternoon). Use the meetings to share low point treat ideas i.e Curly Wurlies and Wotsits/Skips. Diet coke is a great filler (I know you should drink water). Finally, don't be disheartened if you work really hard and sometimes don't lose. It can be down to time of the month. Don't stop trying!

i love weight watchers and like lilyfrog i make all my food from scratch and love it, if you can afford it i would highly recommend the recipe books and use weightwatchers.com for the recipe search!

good luck, i have a website for my weight watchers story

www.freewebs.com/boobesque

My sisters daughter joined W/W and lost weight .

she used to check herself all over for lumps but being rather plump she could not find any,

Once she had lost weight she could see as well as to check herself more in detail and she found a lump in her breast.

If it wasnt for W/W she would have missed that lump as she was that bit plumper
