Well Georgie, I'm really in the Christmas mood tonight, having just caught up with the Christmas Day episode of Downtown Abbey where they were singing carols and enjoying a festive lunch! I had recorded it but I had to watch it quickly as the new series starts again on Sunday.
It didn't disappoint :)

Sprouts have been on a low light since the August bank holiday.
Yes, got Chrissie cards and stamps are bought. They'll be written in November and posted out on Dec 1st.

Sprouts only need five minutes to cook if they are fresh. By fresh I mean picked and cooked within the hour. Lovely! :o}

My sprouts have been in the slow cooker for months!

I buy the ones still on the stalk and yes wbm 5 mins is plenty . Don't like them soft.

I have a friend who liberates a stalk or two when passing a remote field...

I always but them on the vine. Stand it in a bucket of water and it keeps them lovely and fresh. You can east them raw then if you want to. Five minutes to kill off any gremlins lurking and job done. A pat of butter if you wish.

Sprouts certainly kill off gremlins, and also cats and small dogs once the digestive gases start seeking an exit....
