My Dad had series of seizures, last night, lasting for over one hour. The longest seziure lasted for over seven minutes.
He has made it through the night and is still 'asleep'. Am I right in thinking that that those seziures will have taken an enormous toll on his brain function? He has never had seizures before and is not epileptic.
I will be asking this question, again when I go to the hopital later. I did ask it last night and was told, 'We don't know, until he wakes up'.

Yont, you forgot the kiss! Thanks anyway. x
I know you are, if he says he's tired squeeze his hand and give him permission to go, an act of love that's hard to do I understand.
Thinking of you Tilly. x

Mamya, I did that yesterday but he obviously couldn't hear me. I'll try again when I think he can. It's very hard to do.

Thanks, Voddie. x

(and Yont) I'm off this thread now because I'm getting upset.
I didn't mean to upset you sweetheart. X

Big hug for you as well :o(
Thanks mazie. x
Tilly, I know how you are feeling now, I lost a brother through epilepsy and have come close to losing my daughter a couple of times to it as well. It is very distressing I know, I only hope your Dad is not suffering unduly. Chin up!
\\\\I did ask it last night and was told, 'We don't know, until he wakes up\\\

and I agree with that comment.

\\\Am I right in thinking that that those seziures will have taken an enormous toll on his brain function?\\\

and that is another imponderable. In his condition I would think that it would not improve his prognosisi in any way.

Tilly, you may not red this but my thoughts and prayers are with you and your Dad.
