Morning kev and bernie. You just beat me to it maste! :o} I was just finishing typing when you popped up! :o}

Tuesday. We got away with no rain on the canal yesterday. The wind was very strong and gusting however. I almost cancelled the charter. I decided to go with it, but we didn't get as far as I had intended as the Cambridge Arms bridge was closed. (It's one of the two hand-wound bridges on this section of the canal) as it is in such a position as to be affected by high winds. So I turned around just before it and used the time left to go round the marina. A good choice as the party on board had a friend on their boat in there. I was able to get close enough for them to have a natter for a few minutes, so it worked out well.

To day is to the TA then on down to Purton to look at the hulks. I haven't seen the weather report yet. We shall see.

'morning Boatie, Albs, well the pub had sold out of porridge yesterday so I just had toast and preserves but today, hopefully, it will happen.

Salt? Hmmm...we'll see. I remembered her nickname, Miss Whiplash, but I gather it's to do with neck injuries. ;-)

albs the TA is always about right! :o} Purton is another hour down the canal, just a mile from Sharpness Docks. Always a pleasent trip.

A bacon wrap, yes like a tortilla wrap? I like interesting rolls too like those found in supermaket bakeries - ones with seeds.

I like making me own wraps, lobbing things in which take your fancy.
Just made a pile of salad sandwiches for the rest of the albas.
No salad cream in them though :-)

dentist visit ok lol she said i need a filling in one tooth, did moulding for denture yuk,. gonna have a clean up next time oh the joy!
