Anyone Been On Citalopram For Anxiety

my doctor wants me to take citalopram for anxiety I am just wondering if anyone has been on this ?

Not that one, but I've been on other drugs for that in the past - they helped considerably. Have you got a prescription?

yes georie1 take it if your doctor is prescribing it -but insist on counselling to go with it. Did You take a look at the link on anxiety I posted to you on your other thread?

Excellent. make sure you take it at the times you are supposed to take it, don't forget. Getting in a routine is important.

I have been Gordie......made a world of difference. Give it a couple of weeks to start working. All the best.

Have been on this for the past 5 years gordie and am likely to be on them for the rest of my life. Absolutely no problems.

I have been on them and then the slightly stronger, Escitalopram. I've had no problems and they make me feel "normal".

They take a couple of weeks to really start to make a difference, so stick with them.
