well, the day is here and i'm pumped.
i had set my alarm for 0600 when i went to bed early last night - but i woke up around four, and just could not go back to sleep. my mind is just so pre-occupied about today.
i have read the thread for last nights' MOFC. and i have to congratulate mamyalynne for her splendid temporary hosting duties, it looks like there was a good attendance.
i also thank her very much for presenting my 'apologies for absence' and forwarding the baffle prizes i had sent.
lie-in-king. it is good to see that you won the klingon-english dictionary.
it could not have gone to a more honourable recipient - you have truly earned your place in sto-vo'kor.
Q'apla!!
right. time to bathe and freshen up ready for the morning's duties.
good morning excel its raining here so the dogs are refusing to go out, they woke me at 5am but I managed to stay in my pit until 5.45am, tea tastes good at this time in the morning, next I am going to finish yesterday's crossword with the help of A/B.
Have a good day everyone whatever you get up to.

Good morning. Bit overcast in Northants. Sitting with coffee wondering why, after dancing til midnight in a muddy field, it never occurred to me to wash my feet before falling into bed.
Off bird watching at Rutland when daughter gets up. No stamina, these youngsters.
Too right Alba. Youngsters sitting on sofas chatting and us oldies in the marquee with the band and a token handbag to dance around. Mind you, they were our children and probably mortified.
Breeze getting up now. Not good for birds. May have to find a warden to watch instead.
Morning All. Not actually raining in S oxon so that's a bonus. First cuppa wearing off now, and stuck on the crossword with 4 to go, so kettle on is my next move. Possibly followed by a bit of Wii.
I was up your way a week ago sheen - near Didcot and abingdon
gness - I thought you were off cock-spotting this weekend. You made my Regatta ode last night on MOFC - as did most MOFCers, a memory of Henley last weekend.
He didn't even catch it, lazy git. It was outside yesterday and he's just brought it in. It's a tiny baby chick...hasn't even got feathers. It's obviously fell out of the nest.
