Crying.

Its been 9 days since my hubby left to live a single life. Is it normal to cry as much as I am? I have my "Dry" periods but then the tears come again. I just keep thinking "29 years of marriage finished just like that". TIA

Did he divorce you, or just leave you just like that? Do not know what to say as not a marriage guidance counsellor. Have any of you got any good advice on here?
So sorry chinadog. We are all thinking of you.
Thirty pounds, or thirty thousand pounds, ratter? You are confusing us with your ambigous punctuation.

Mine went after 30 years.I spent months breaking down into heart breaking sobs.It is now two years and I am having the time of my life.If anyone had told me then that I would be feeling like I am now I would have laughed at them.It does get better believe me.I will always love him and I feel so sorry for him in his lonely little world but life goes on and you will survive this. All the best and please feel the support you are getting from us all. xx
Wait untill You are in the anger stage You'll be wanting to smash His face in.

Jonnyboy he said he wanted to leave why I did'nt know till he said he did'nt love me and suprise has never loved me thro al 29 years of marriage! He wants a divorce so Im letting him do the running around (Advice from my sister).Tastymorsel I really feel for you, does'nt it hurt when you love someone for so long and they dont love you back? Im so gald you're happy again. Thanks all. china x
JohnnyBoy, Im afraid the "ambigous punctuation" goes with my Dyslexia, it can get much worse I promise you, but £30.000 is thirty thousand pound, £30 isnt much of a distraction now is it!!
I am so sorry ratter, I did not know you had that condition. Have you ever seen the film "The Naked Gun 33: The Final Insult"? In that film Frank Drebin is reading a newspaper with the headline "Dyslexia for cure found", so now there is no excuse.

You are right, £30 is not much at all.
JohnnyBoy, I must say I havent seen the film, no apology needed by the way, i know it was not meant as an insult :-)
I'm sorry to read what you're going through, Chinadog.
Just take it one day at a time, cry as much as you need to & don't feel guilty for doing so. It's like going through all the stages of grief the tears, anger, blame etc. It's a horrible experience & it's hard to see a way forward when your pain is so raw.
I was pretty much feeling the same at the start of the year, although I was the one who chose to end things, it still hurt like hell. One of the reasons being that I felt he didn't love me his mouth said he did, but his actions told a different story. When I walked away he let me, so I got my answer. but time really does help. Every week that passes I'm getting stronger, & you will too. One day we will meet that special someone who will love us for who we are.
It's good that you've got plenty of support & friends, family around you.
Thinking of you, Chinadog.
China its early days, the crying will go on for quite a while, nothing wrong with having a good old cry, time will heal and a new you will emerge eventually. If he contacts you be polite but try not to cry and keep the conversation short. One day, when he sorts himself out, he may want to come back but then you are in control and think hard do you really want him back ?if you can pull thru for 3/6 months than maybe you are better off on your own, its too soon after 9 days to make any decisions.Glad to hear you have family & friends around you.take care.

Dee Sar, Thanks so much for you reply. I saw my gp yesterday,he also treated my OH. I told him everything and he thinks now OH could be Bi Polar and said if he comes to him he will make sure he's treated for it. I told him OH is living with his mum till he finds a flat so he took the name of the surgery where he's living in case he goes there then my gp can fill them in about him. Still bawling m afraid. china x
