school holidays!

Have everyones kids gone back to school yet.....???

my daughter goes tomorrow... and ohhh, i cant wait!!!!!

although, i have enjoyed the six weeks holiday with her, but its time to get her packed off to school again!

I'm really glad to see my moody, spotty, smelly 14 year old back at school (He's probley said about 10 words to me during the hols). BUT!! i'm not happy about driving to work and hitting the school run traffic. What ever happened to kids walking to school!!

for me it will be back to

screaming up the stairs to get up, umpteen times,

trying to get breakfast inside her,

looking for loose change, last minute , for dinner money,

running down the road with her in tow at 8.45am....

omg, whats it going to be like when she is s teen!!! AARRGGHHH!!!

My youngest started middle school today,very grown up,the middle one in high school and the oldest one has left school,now that is a hard mix first thing in the morning!

I went back to work after a 7 week break. My kids are all grown up so the holidays were lovely and peacefull. Forgot what it was like to have children running about and it was quite a shock to the system. Still by the end of the week, it will seem like I have never been away. Only about 5 weeks or so till half term.

I was really sad to see my 14 year old go back last Thursday. I love having him at home and always have. Am i weird????
