could the slight metallic taste I have had in the back of my throat/nose be accredited to the use of one of those plug in air fresheners? or have I got the symptom of a hideous disease? Its been like it on and off for several days..

hate to sound daft here but do you drink a lot of coke??? i get a metallicy tinny taste in my mouth if i drink alot of it .
i think it may be the air freshner..as i have one that you add oil to water its electric and sometimes if i put a lot of oil in everything i drink or eat tastes metalicy...
could be a small bleed at the back of the nose or throat. The metal taste could be the iron in the blood. When you cut your finger and lick the wound you can taste iron on the blood.

Well, a metallic taste can be one of the first signs of an allergic reaction, so it could be the air freshener.
But this can also be a symptom of Vitamin D overdose, are you taking Cod Liver oil capsules or vitamin supplements, if so you are overdoing it.
Can also be vitamin B12 or Zinc deficiency, not so likely though.
