I'm a 51 year old female and for the last few weeks have experienced a very unpleasant metallic taste in my mouth, mainly just after eating or drinking. All food tastes horrible. I've read it could be connected or a symptom of the menopause. Does anyone have any info on this or suffered personally?

I'm not pregnant, have recently been to the dentist so we can rule that out. Periods are a bit erratic but apart from that have no other meno symptoms.

Yes, as it's common in pregnancy I reckon it could be hormone related (menopausal) It's horrid isn't it, I've had it in the past, nothing shifts it it just goes away on its own.
