I just wanted to say that the aftermath of a pedicure is absolute bliss. If you have never had one, and your feet are o.k., then I recommend that you try one.

It leaves you feeling good for days afterwards.

This is not only for the ladies.

I had one in Oxford - came out feeling exactly the same as when I went in. Waste of money.

Ladybirder, what I meant was, if you have painful feet for any reason, you might not find it quite so therapeutic because it might hurt.

If you had terrible bunions or very painful arthritis, I don't think a pedicure would help.

I saw a podiatrist the other day, my feet feel lovely now.

Occasionally I will subject the soles of my feet to a treatment of rasping followed by a regimen of scratching with increasing grit grades of sandpaper. I have to admit that upon completion, I experience the distinct feeling of walking on, well...sore feet:)

I went to a local salon. It was £32.00 for the 'de luxe' pedicure'

a couple of years ago i had a garra rufa fish pedicure

my feet felt so luxurious for ages afterwards

Stewey, a do-it-yourself job is not going to give you any pleasure. Spend some Canadian dollars!
