I just wanted to say that the aftermath of a pedicure is absolute bliss. If you have never had one, and your feet are o.k., then I recommend that you try one.

It leaves you feeling good for days afterwards.

This is not only for the ladies.

There you go. Two endorsements.
I had one in Oxford - came out feeling exactly the same as when I went in. Waste of money.

That's a shame, atalanta. Didn't the pampering help at all?
Tilly, what do you mean by "and your feet are OK"?
Question Author
Ladybirder, what I meant was, if you have painful feet for any reason, you might not find it quite so therapeutic because it might hurt.

If you had terrible bunions or very painful arthritis, I don't think a pedicure would help.
Ah got ya. Thank you. How much does it cost and do you go to them or do they come to you?

I saw a podiatrist the other day, my feet feel lovely now.
Occasionally I will subject the soles of my feet to a treatment of rasping followed by a regimen of scratching with increasing grit grades of sandpaper. I have to admit that upon completion, I experience the distinct feeling of walking on, well...sore feet:)

my feet felt so luxurious for ages afterwards

petal, they will sort your toenails out. All the more reason for going.

Stewey, a do-it-yourself job is not going to give you any pleasure. Spend some Canadian dollars!

Never had a fishy pedicure, excel. It's cruel in my opinion
Tilly2, I just know that you realize what you said to me could have more than one interpretation:)
