False Teeth

1.I have been told by 2 dentists who have reviewed CT scans of my mouth, that I cannot have more implants,
2.I am thinking of having false teeth fitted which will involve the extraction of several worn down stumps. Presumably this would necessitate my having to have nitrous oxide anaesthetic.
3.Has anyone had experience of this.
4.What is it like when one comes around?
5.When I have had extractions done before, I have bled profusely.
6.To avoid having the nitrous oxide, I am thinking of asking my dentist to extract just a couple of tooth stumps at a time with a prior injection of Novocaine. I have no problem with injections.
7.I would greatly appreciate your comments as my appointment is at 10.40 tomorrow morning (9/8/12

Didn't want implants. Teeth were removed via injection. Not much bleeding at all. No dry sockets.
The false teeth took a while to get used to while gum were sorting themselves out. I found the worst was the stuff they put in your mouth for the moulds.

when I went to have a couple out, one had broken right down to the gum..
imagined having to go the hospital to get out..but no, just an injection.
If you have given your medical information previously, they should know how
to treat you..but no harm in reminding when you visit.

No denture experience but my dads had them since his 30s and he is mid 40s now- you would never know and he has no issues!!!

I just had a wisdom tooth removed a while back it was over in 30secs NO joke and i really didnt need much painkillers either i took some ibuprofen when i came home and that was all!!

Blood thinning drugs wil make you bleed- if you choose to have teeth removed they should ask your medical history BUT bite down on gauze or cotton wool afterwards to encourage clotting and avoid suction in the mouth like using a straw which could disloge the clots you want xxxx
