What should I do?

So far I have come up with ironing centre creases in my jeans and painting a light bulb black to see if the rooms gets darker when I switch the lamp on.

What else could I do?

I'm grateful to his mum, she came round yesterday with new clothes for him so lots less ironing for me :-) (she buys most of his clothes!!)
