But I do love my family and friends.....I suppose it's because I am now older than most of them that they worry about the things I get up to.

Deciding to gallivant off to roam about in France with no plans resulted in numerous texts during the first few days asking how I was.....was I having a good time?

The texts I sent back should have read.....I'm fine and having a wonderful time.
My predictive text thing somehow managed to change that to.....

I'm fine and having a wonderfuk time.....

I had to switch the phone off for a while after that.....☺

all part of life's rich pageantry gness, dear, glad u had a good time.
I doubt predictive text changes anything into 'wonderfuk'
Question Author
Roy...if I had thought it would change it to anything other than wonderful do you not think I'd have looked?
Wonderful are the buttons I pinged....wonderfuk is what arrived at the other end.
Love phones and prefictive text..can get one into a lot of trouble lol!! :)

You obviously do not know our gness ☺☺☺

Predictive text on gness's phone is obviously struggling to keep up with her talents and apparently losing!

Tell me about it, PP...I do now know that typing...phoned...goes as sinned. That caused some bother.
Recently I sent texts telling people not to phone me as I was temporarily deaf.....that went as...temporarily dead.

snigger!

Just spluttered into my coffee and sniffed it up. Bloody mess, going to change my clothes now.

Morning, Slack....☺....this is a new phone which now has a big plastic loop and torch stuck to it. It's a gimicky gadget I bought from a charity shop which attaches to the phone so you can hang it in your handbag....bloody nuisance it is but stuck so fast I can't remove it.
Couple of weeks ago the loop stuck to my purse as I was taking it out of my bag....The phone flew over the counter of the little Tesco and disappeared under the ciggie display....took a manager with a broom handle to get it back.
Morning gness

Your slipping, no bell attached to the phone?
Question Author
Not to the phone, Slack.....but to my purse since I was mugged. A shopping trip with me is like a day out with the unclean.....☺
I hope you did have a wonderfuj time :P

I'm back home for Easter for a bit, talk soon I hope ?
jim360

Keep it to talking, texting might cause misunderstanding!

gness

Thought it was bells on everything movable?

Question Author
Morning, Jim...bit of what or shouldn't I ask? I'm around all weekend I think. Is this weekend Easter?
Anyway, call.....late evening is best and use my left ear...the right has gone into silent mode again.....x

Have to limit them, Slack.....they were making me round shouldered and anyway the church asked for them back..... :-(

I am in no way responsible for the absence of Shoota so behave!!!!
Question Author
What you and your family do for fun is your business, Jim...but do tell...☻
